Sun, Moon & Stars Hiking Club - November

We will be walking a modified hike at Hidden Valley Preserve -Steep Rock.

This will be a loop following the river to the bridge, crossing the bridge, continuing to follow the river and then back to the parking area.
 

Directions: GPS to: 198 Bee Brook Road, Washington Depot, CT We will meet in the parking area. Click the link below. it is about a 30 minute ride from Watertown

We will meet in the parking lot at 9:50 and start our hike promptly at 10:00  We are planning on one hour of hike time.

PLEASE BE PROMPT  and plan accordingly.  There is very limited cell phone coverage at the parking area so it will be difficult to receive or make any calls/texts.

What to bring on a hike:

Backpack
A charged up cell phone*Sunscreen
Bug spray
Water and plenty of snacks
Sunglasses
First aid kit*
Extra clothes
Wet Wipes (pack)
Proper footwear* (for an easy rated hike, sneakers are fine but more strenuous hikes I would recommend hiking boots)
